Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native born under very poor conditions in September 16th in 1958. Her mother, a failed actor and schoolteacher, sold automobiles, while her father worked as an auto salesman. Jennifer was the second child in a four-child family she was frequently at the theater performances of her mother and was was awestruck. Jennifer's parents separated at the age of 5 years old. Jennifer lived in British Columbia for most of her childhood following the divorce of her mother, along with the other four children moved there. Jennifer wasn't a very artist however, she was a talented artist in her youth. Her school was often the subject of bullying because of her experiences in Canadian schools. Her interest began to wane in theater throughout her high school years. Her mother encouraged her to participate in different roles in productions.
